Summer Wedding at the University Club

Thursday, April 7th, 2016

Last summer we had the pleasure of working with Katie and Samford their wedding at the University Club in Chicago. We had quite a great team of vendors such as Soiree Weddings and Events, BBJ Linen, Frost Lighting and major kudos to Andre Labour Photography for sharing these gorgeous pictures.

Katie was hoping for peonies in late August and we were able to deliver! Her bridesmaids carried bouquets of purple Vanda orchids, stock, Yves Paiget Garden roses and foliages.

Katie wanted lots of vibrant purples, magentas, plums with a lot of texture and that’s what we gave her on all of her designs with purple hydrangeas, plum calla lilies, calypso mokara orchids, dusty miller, plum ranunculus, lisianthus and dahlias.

Woodlands Wedding at Chicago’s South Shore Cultural Center

Thursday, December 12th, 2013

As they say better late than never….. We designed this lovely wedding more than a year ago for Emily and Mauricio. This Chicago Wedding took place during the summer at the South Shore Cultural Center in Chicago.  Emily wanted an elegant but woodlands feel to her wedding. She loved all things ranunculus, dahlias, scabiosa pods but also wanted a little bit of birch wood and driftwood within her overall design as her family symbol was a tree.

Emily and Maurcio’s centerpieces were not created atop a piece of driftwood, they hosted hydrangeas, loose neck goose strife, sword ferns, ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, scabiosa pods and dahlias for a very woodlands centerpiece.

Contemporary Escort Card Table

Friday, July 20th, 2012

Last week we had the pleasure of working at Room 1520. Until we get pictures from our friend Jeremy Lawson Photography here is a sneak at the escort card table we created. It’s a monochromatic collection of white dinner plate dahlias, white phalenopsis orchids, white hydrangea, white callas, garden roses and white tulips. It was stunning and it certainly set the tone for the evening as the guests arrived.
