Barrington Bridal Connection Show
Tuesday, January 25th, 2011This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of working with Christina from Christina Currie Events at the Barrington Bridal Connection Show. I’ve known Christina for quite some time now and have a great time not only collaborating with her on numerous projects for several organizations but also getting the chance to provide her clients with floral for their weddings and events.
We created three floral arrangements based on Christina’s vision of three very different tablescapes. The first one called the Magnificient Table. We used a semi round pave of Black Baccara Roses. They are rich and velvety like no other rose and they tend to open beautifully. Nothing says romantic and sexy like the black baccara.
For the second table, Christina thought of the 1920′s and gave me a theme of art deco. What better than clean lines and steps to showcase the art deco style. We chose standard white calla lilies.
The third table was called the King’s Table. Christina wanted it to be romantic but fit for a king getting married. We decided to incorporate casablanca lilies, light pink roses, white and green hydrangeas to create a romantic but tall centerpiece with hanging white phalaenopsis orchid stems.

We were very happy with the outcome of all three arrangements and we are very happy that so many of the brides attending got to enjoy them.
Thank you Christina for letting us collaborate with you!
