Milk Glass Wedding with a Birch Twist at the Ravenswood Event Center

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012

This past summer we got to work with Liz and Dan on their wedding at the Ravenswood Event Center. We loved working on this wedding and I was very happy to learn we would be working with Liz and Nicole from Studio Starling. Who provided these amazing images. Liz and Dan were looking for lots textures and really just let me have fun desiging their wedding. Their only request was that I stayed within their green, white and grey palate with pops of yellow. For this wedding we used a lot of green dianthus, white dahlias, chamomile flowers,  lotus pods, privet berries, billy balls, white scabiosa (ugly name pretty flower!), seeded eucalyptus, sea star fern, hanging amarathus, veronicas, white astarantia and dusty miller for that touch of grey.

Great lighting at the Ravenswood Event Center. Especially for our birch chuppah. We hung mason jarson the chairs and used these afterwards for the reception.

Not only did I get the chance to use my white milk glass collection but I also got to use my dinner plate white dahlias! Yes the ones growing in my garden who have made an appearance at multiple events this summer.

Thanks Studio Starling for sharing these images! We love working with you.
